DABRE Technologies ("DABRE", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of people who use the DABRE mobile application, website and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we may collect, why we collect it, how we use it, when it may be shared, how we protect it and the rights available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to users of the DABRE Platform, including property seekers, landlords, property owners, agents and other persons who interact with DABRE.
DABRE intends to process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana, where applicable.
For personal information processed by DABRE in connection with the DABRE Platform, DABRE Technologies is responsible for determining the purposes for which that information is processed and how it is used, subject to applicable law.
Some information may also be processed by third-party service providers that provide infrastructure, authentication, hosting, analytics, communications, maps or payment services to DABRE.
Where another organisation processes information on DABRE's behalf, DABRE expects that organisation to process the information only for appropriate purposes and with appropriate safeguards, subject to the terms governing the relevant service.

A landlord or property provider may also provide a property's location or map coordinates when creating a listing.

Payments for DABRE subscriptions may be processed through third-party payment providers. DABRE does not need to receive or store your full bank card number where the payment provider processes that information directly.

Landlords, owners and agents should not upload personal information belonging to another person unless they have the lawful authority or other appropriate basis to do so.
DABRE does not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
We may share or make information available where reasonably necessary to operate DABRE or where permitted or required by law.

DABRE uses third-party technology and service providers to operate parts of the Platform.
These may include services such as Firebase, Google services, mapping services, payment providers, cloud infrastructure and other technical providers.
These third parties may process certain information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
DABRE seeks to use reputable service providers and to apply reasonable measures when selecting and working with providers that process information on our behalf.
DABRE uses cloud-based technology to support account management, property listings, databases, authentication, storage, notifications and other application functions.
Information submitted through DABRE may therefore be stored or processed using cloud infrastructure operated by DABRE's technology providers.
Such processing may involve the transfer or processing of information outside Ghana where the relevant service provider operates infrastructure in other countries, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
DABRE may use third-party payment services to process payments for DABRE subscriptions.
Payment providers may process information required to authorize, complete, verify or record a subscription transaction.
DABRE does not process or collect rent payments between tenants and landlords through the Platform.
DABRE also does not authorize landlords or agents to use DABRE's subscription payment system to collect rent, deposits, viewing fees or other property-related payments.
DABRE may use your contact information or device notification services to send communications necessary for the operation of your account and the Platform.

Where applicable, you may control certain notifications through your device or account settings.
Where DABRE sends promotional or marketing communications, we will do so in accordance with applicable law and any choices or permissions available to you.
You may contact DABRE if you wish to object to or manage certain marketing communications.
DABRE seeks to process personal information in a lawful, reasonable and transparent manner and for specified purposes.

Security measures may include access controls, authentication, appropriate permissions, secure communications and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved.
However, no internet-based system or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If DABRE becomes aware of a personal data security incident that requires notification under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps as required by law.
DABRE retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to:

You may request deletion of your DABRE account in accordance with the account-deletion process provided by DABRE.
Account deletion may result in the removal or disabling of information associated with your account, subject to information that DABRE is required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transactional or other legitimate purposes.
Where you are a landlord, property owner or agent, deleting your account may also affect property listings and other information associated with that account.

DABRE is currently focused primarily on the Ghanaian property market. However, certain technology and payment providers used by DABRE may operate or process information outside Ghana.
Where personal information is processed outside Ghana, DABRE will seek to do so in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and appropriate safeguards.
DABRE may provide links or access to third-party websites, applications or services, including payment, mapping, communication or other services.
DABRE is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that operate independently from DABRE.
Users should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing information to them.
DABRE may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, technology, applicable law or our data processing practices.
When appropriate, we may notify users of material changes through the DABRE Platform, website, email, notification or another reasonable method.
The updated Privacy Policy will state its effective date.
If you believe that DABRE has mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy prevents you from exercising any legal right or making a complaint to a competent regulatory authority where permitted by applicable law.
